This band is my special interest and think it awesome and under-ratted. Has anyone else heard of NMA or is a fan. I really want to know if there are any others on WP.

Best band ever - I've been a fan since I was a young un. I remember seeing them on tour in '91, a hometown gig at Bradford Queens Hall. BRILLIANT

My Thunder and Consolation themed ink:

Which is your favourite album?

That's pretty awesome ink. My favorite Album is "Thunder and Consolations" but all of the albums are pretty amazing.

I love Thunder And Consolation, but I have a soft spot for the earlier stuff up to and including The Ghost Of Cain - the basslines are belting. If I had to pick a favourite I'd go for No Rest For The Wicked, but the 1991 live album Raw Melody Men captures their essence nicely. Recommended if you haven't already got it. :wtg:

Also, have you heard any of Justin Sullivan's other stuff? He records with Red Sky Coven, and his solo album 'Navigating By The Stars' is great if you like atmospheric and folky - there's is a song on there called 'Ocean Rising' which just blows me away. Great stuff.

Navigating The Stars is brilliant and I have heard the Red Sky Coven albums. I bought them from the NMA websites shop. Also The Justin Sullivan and Friends album is pretty awesome. Have you heard the 30th anniversary concert?
It's pretty amazing that Justin still sounds that good after 30 years.
I have heard everything by NMA. I even downloaded some early demos that were never released. I think it was a bootleg called "A Shot Between The Eyes" and three volumes exist. It's good to find someone on this forum familiar with them. I am thinking about getting an NMA tattoo but have yet to decide what to get. Do you go on the NMA froum or facebook page and group?

I'm allergic to Facebook, might check the NMA forum out though. I haven't heard the 30th anniversary gig so will have to track that down. :)

As far as I know this is the only place to get the 30'th anniversary concerts.
