This sounds strange, but in my school I have a reputation for smoking weed, even though I've never touched it. Does anyone else get this a lot? :?

I am definitely spacey. I have only occasionally heard that people think that I smoke some pot, I don't though.

I don't know if I have ADD, but think I may. People have told me I looked stoned before, when I wasn't.

When I used to work as a forklift driver, my supervisor accused me of being on drugs. I wasn't taking anything. Then I started medication for ADHD and my supervisor then told me how impressed he was with my work performance.

I got made fun of for being spaced out/vague throughout my schooling years.

Did not get accused of that, but although I was liked by most teachers (not the Geometry teacher!), I was labeled an "underachiever".

I used to get accidentally locked in classrooms (I'd zone out completely and not say anything as everyone left and teachers would forget I was there)/lose track of time for hours/miss classes by mistake just because of zoning out/get lost and confused all the time. I always achieved average to good grades though, and once I was on ritalin (which made me able to focus) I became a high to very high achiever. So I suppose the ADD did reduce my schooling ability. I then later was diagnosed with ADHD instead but I believe the symptom change was due to the onset of bipolar and thus hypomania. As a child I definitely had ADD presentation.

"non hyperactive ADD" but that's what ADD is. ADHD is WITH the hyperactivity, ADD is without.

I am diagnosed with ADD, but it needs to be officially written on my medical file because my last psychiatrist was a right bum.

I often space out and go off into my own world, forgetting I'm in the company of others, and sometimes I can talk for ages about one subject and be a bit hyper.

I've got that a lot & I'm straight-edge & never tried anything. I wasn't thought to be on drugs just because of ADD/ADHD thou. I zone-out & daydream a lo especially when I'm not interested in what the NTs around me are talking about. I'm easily confused sometimes due to dyslexia, I have a low vision disorder & the way i look at something or the look in my eyes might could be odd because of it, I have a tremor disorder that acts up when I'm doing things with fine motor-skills or nervous & it can affect my voice too & cause slurring/stuttering, I apear to be nervous, I keep to myself, I like stoner movies so it's been very easy for me to give the druggie vibe but lots who know me after abit wouldn't think I would do them.

I get all sorts of weird reactions about my facial expressions (dazed, ill, angry, sad, tired, too serious, ....), though I really don't know if it's related to my ADHD, or if my face just looks like that.

Showing the wrong or odd facial expressions is common with us Aspies/autistics
