I love memes! I was busy being interested in other things, but yesterday I found a site with funny pictures and memes on it. It got me re addicted to them. Who else likes memes?

Obviously, I do! They're more or less my favorite form of Internet entertainment.

I find memes to be pretty amusing, and I browse sites like Reddit and Memebase everyday to get my fix.

Gee, thanks, Shrox. I was going to play the "I'm old" card, then I saw you're older than me.

That was an easy set-up. I first saw it when it was used on me!

I really hate memes, aside from the funny cat image macros and NEDM. I enjoyed YTMND meme era, but I think it(memes)either became far too prevalent or I just outgrew the "hahaha look at this silly picture with silly words!" "hahaha the ocean is scary!" "hahaha look at this picture with an ironic caption!" type of humor. I know memes aren't exactly a new thing, I just don't like the current breed of them. I find memes now just to be obnoxious, repetitive or unoriginal and lacking in creativity. To each his own though.

I guess I'm just becoming very curmudgeony over things not worth worrying over. Not trying to ruin your topic, just interjecting my own opinion.

That was way too sophisticated an analysis for me to follow. Can you explain that in a way that makes sense to someone who's still wondering if there's a connection between Socially Awkward Penguin and the Umbrella corporation?

I am not interested in internet memes, but in memetics.

Memes were tolerable (or even amusing) before they became a mainstream internet fad.

Kind of like how a joke is funny when you first hear it on a television show, and then it quickly loses its appeal after hearing your peers repeat the joke ad nauseam.

Speaking of memes, someone is making a movie about someone from LOLCats having an existential crisis. Sean Pecknold is directing and Robin is writing the score. Web Page Name .
