Maybe I'm just depressed or something. But life for me is just so boring. I actually can't remember the last time I've been excited for something or actively enjoying myself. Kinda feel like I'm sitting around waiting to die. Anybody else feel like this?

I have lately. I need to improve my lifestyle because I feel like I'm just wasting my life away. Hopefully this will change for me in September.

What's happening for you in September?
That's kinda like me a little. I start studying a new course then. But in between then and now I've got literally nothing to do. My days consist of staying in my room, sleeping and then going out in the night with friends. But tbh me and my friends sit around making the same conversation we've had a million times before. Or so it seems. So even that I don't really find fulfilling. Sigh.

Totally. I envy people who find such satisfaction in boring things. I wish I could be like that. Life is easier.

Yeah being unemployed with no money and with no way to get around, it is hard to see life as anything but blah. Tomorrow is my birthday and I am dreading having another day others celebrate, spending it all alone.

Life is very boring. I think humans have such an active brain that craves new things and discovers all the time that modern life is too boring for us once we get to a certain age.

I fill my time as much as I can but still I often feel there is too much time to fill. Even when I am working I think it is all boring and a waste of time.

The world keeps spinning round and no one knows why....

I'm starting a new program in college. I run a home daycare right now but still, I feel lonely. I don't get enough adult socialization.

Well, we're on the wrong planet, guys. The world isn't made for us.

I get bored and edgy when I'm ready for a change. The rest of the time, I'm often wanting to put the breaks on, because even everyday life feels like it really comes at me, and I find it really hard to deal with. I'm happy and content or excited some of the time, and I'm glad for things I've done. But I have to push myself. I have to tackle difficult things, whether they're things I like or not. Otherwise, boredom is all I'll have.

Yeah, that's that good old on/off emotional switch we've got. Full on, vivid world comin' atcha or off and dull routine or nothingness.

Just gotta deal, I guess. The heat wave here, with the accompanying high humidity, isn't helping...

That switch idealogy you've got there fits in with my nature pretty well.

I got a job in order to keep myself busy, earn money and socialise. But I found the whole experience so draining and stressful I just quit. Now I haven't got a job or anything to do I'm bored all the time and craving more activity or goal to complete.

Seems like I can't do anything that will satisfy me.
