In the 6th grade, I played the double bass in the orchestra in middle school. I did better in choir the following year.

Drums, practiced and learnt for around 2 years, but had to give up due to the fact that I wasn't allowed a drum kit in the house for obvious reasons. A shame though, as I really enjoyed it and would have liked to continue it on, even if it didn't come to much.

Piano and Voice. I sing better than I play the piano, but I enjoy the piano more.

Drums (6+ years - my primary instrument)
Guitar (took lessons in elementary school days, picked up the guitar again in eighth grade. My knowledge is limited to chords and however I can apply basic theory)
Keyboard (My drum teacher, when he started teaching me music theory, had me get a keyboard)

I play percussion (drums, mallets, cymbals, and toys), flute, piano, violin (but I've not played it in 8 years!), and I love to sing. Being in be band in high school was the only way I got through it and meet people. In college, I'm in the marching band which as has allowed me to make friends and keep playing.

Same here. I can't have a drum kit in my house. :( My mum can afford one, but we don't have enough room. This is for a proper big drum kit though. I might get a little (Not one of those childish playschool ones) drum kit which wouldn't take up alot of room.

I haven't been playing a lot lately but my primary instruments are guitar, irish bouzouki, and keyboards / synths. I also dabble with mandolin, banjo, sitar, hand percussion and like using effects / experimental noise / computer processing / studio as an "instrument". I will also pretty much try to play any instrument that I can get my hands on - I'm especially fascinated by the more exotic , folk and old-world / traditional kinds. Stuff like they have here: http://larkinthemorning.com/ - which is my dream acoustic instrument store.

:D I really think we should all contribute one track each to a compilation, then share it to everyone... Well it seems most of us could get the means to record or create something.

I've played guitar for nearly 7 years, played bass on and off, but always found it easy after a few years on guitar. Play drums rarely because my brother is an excellent drummer.

Editing electronic music (I guess this could be called an instrument), making stuff then chopping it up, beat-driven stuff, and ambient experimental projects too.

Goals in terms of music and instruments:

7 string guitar
better recording equipment
finish other electronic projects
bassist and/or bass :P

Sound! :)
