Hey all,
I have been a member since 2008, but post very little. I am trying to post more frequently, though.
I have never been diagnosed with Aspergers, but I suspect I'm somewhere on the spectrum. My therapist told me he thinks I'm an extremely high functioning Aspie, so if that is a diagnosis, so be it. He couldn't rule it out, but he couldn't say for sure that I have it, either.
My problem isn't a monotone voice, but eye contact. I have horrible problems with eye contact, and experience anxiety when trying to socialize. I have been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder. I also obsess over certain things (have OCD), hate loud noises (aside from music concerts, and things I actually find enjoyable), and hate being in crowds.
The things I have been diagnosed with are bipolar, OCD, ADHD, body dismorphic disorder, and social anxiety disorder.
A little more about me: I am a musician and music lover, who has 26 albums up on iTunes, Amazon, emusic, Spotify, and Bandcamp. I am a huge lover of progressive rock, horror and sci fi movies, Stephen King, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Batman (I like comic book heroes, but especially Batman), video games, and computers. I am studying to become a computer programmer.
Anyway, hey there!
