47 yo male, USA, northeast pa, avid motorcycle rider, cat lover.

Recently discovered the term "Aspergers" and decided to google it out of curiosity and WHAM!..........there it was.

Answers to many unanswered questions in my life ever since I've been a kid. I think I've finally found what makes me tick, or stop ticking in some instances.

It seems that I am probably a poster child for Aspergers Syndrome as I've seen it described. I believe I have a very prolific and strong case of Aspergers.

thanks

Just to be clear about my introduction, I am not officially diagnosed, but rather recently self-diagnosed, however believe I am MORE than accurate about this based on what I've read on Aspergers.

I probably will be seeking some sort of professional opinion/diagnosis/advice in the future as this Asp/border autism thing is a huge factor in my life.

I have many of the classic signs of it including the social dysfunction and social thick-headedness, stimming, spacing out, awkwardness, OCD tendencies, confusion, paranoia, distraction tendencies, fairly high intelligence level and focusing ability etc. etc. etc.

appears I'm a pretty strong textbook case.

Thanks.

I've been riding street bikes for 20+ odd years on and off. Currently my ride is a ZG1000 Kawasaki Concours sport-touring bike.
I ride somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-12k miles yearly.

Hi Conasp! Welcome to Wrong Planet! Check out the many interesting and helpful forums here. Used to live in NE PA myself a couple of times. Moved a little further north into the Finger Lakes region of NY from my last stay in NE PA. NE PA and the Finger Lakes area of NY are nice. I love mountain country. I also love animals, but health problems make it too hard for me to have them any more. I prefer dogs over cats, but cats are nice, too. You are among friends here at WP! :D
