When I get thirsty, and I'm dying for something to drink, I tend to reach for something that's hot. Tea is my Elixer of choice. I think I reach for the hot stuff, because I feel that the non-cyber world lacks the warmth that I crave. After being judged, accused and having abuse hurled, due to my size, a cup of Tea gives me the warmth that I crave.

Anyone who uses the word 'beverage' should be shot on sight and then dragged round their local streets so people can pelt rotten vegetables at them. Hyperbole perhaps, but I don't like that word. At all.

The answer to that question is "yes." But whatever you do, if you are going to chase one with the other, don't let your teeth like get hot then douse them with an ice cold beverage. I think that the resulting cracks heal, but you do feel it.

Same as hale_bopp. When I'm thirsty, there is nothing as refreshing as an ice cold lemonade with on rocks. And when I cuddle up under a warm blanket after coming in from a below-zero climate, there is nothing as awesome as a cup of hot coffee or chocolate.

So it depends on the situation

LOL...I thought I was the only one who thought that. I love coffee..but even the though of coffee "iced" turns my stomach.

Anything cold eg pepsi/beer when im thirsty, only hot drinks when the weather is cold but even then ill stil drink cold stuff

I second that. Seving piss-warm beer to me is synonymous to asking for a black eye.
Cold beer, pizza and oral tobacco. Thats "chill-out" time for me.

For those extremely hot summer days, I make a lemonade with lots of Ice.
If I'm in the mood for a buzz, I'll add some vodka to it.
You haven't tasted a real "lemonade-buzzer" until you've tasted mine!
