On the upside of the evening. I did find that out. I was better than so many NT's and cheerleader/jock types there that I felt so good about it. I was even better than my best friend. And this wasn't disco night either, this was to current music. Flo Rida, Low.

Maybe you can teach us some moves now

Being taught them never worked for me. Watching people, little liquid social lubricant like beer or vodka, and slowly getting the feel of the beat of the music was what did it for me.

I mean, I can do the old line dance to Night Fever, and the More than a Woman "slow dance" but nowhere near as good as actual dancers can, but I was surprised that I got a ton of compliments on just doing what I had been doing alone to the music or just with my friend. Strangers said I could dance. I was flattered.

It's only taken me 38 years to learn lol.
