This question popped up in my head yesterday: does most aspie have spiritual belief or are they more logical and therefore atheist?

i dont really have a religion or specific belief. but if i had to put a name on what i believe it would be: chaos magician. I see myself as a pagan. i live with the flow of the season. i celebrate nature and its beauties. i believe there is no coincidences. i also believe in karma and law of attraction. I practice Reiki. I believe in some universal knowledge. I see god as a source of energy, infinite and surrounding us. if i could put an image, it would be a huge and profound reservoir and that would be god. Also, my belief are really based on shamanism. Both amerindian and tibetan.

i see life as a big experience and we get to help the human race evolving by participating into what we call society.

so whats your thoughts ?

If that's your question then why are things such as deism, agnosticism and atheism excluded from your poll? :?

I don't think much about this sort of thing, but I suppose I'm an atheist - is there a term for someone who isn't really bothered? Though I find far more of sense and interest in, say, Terry Eagleton or Cornel West than Dawkins.

I'm interested in both belief and beliefs, and would question the idea that atheism is more 'logical'.

What do you believe in ?

i believe in nothing, and because "nothing" does not exist, then "i do not believe nothing''
and, because i must believe "something" (not "nothing"), i must perpetually correspond with people who i find arduous to deal with.

There is no category for 'Other'.

well sorry, it was late and i forgot about beliefs.. of nothing ;)

putting all the beliefs in a poll is almost impossible..

i should have had others though but then again.. it was 3am or so when i wrote that topic.

just write what you believe in if its not in the list...

You can safely assume that you've created God in your own image when it turns out that God hates all the same people you do

Nothing.
I've won many arguments against religious people (: Errors. Always.

But that was when I cared. I don't anymore. The world doesn't have to be all logical anymore.
If you're religious I won't bother you. And I hope I don't offend anyone, I'm not ready for that reaction atm.

None of the above. Bit of a biased poll not to include the more philosophical beliefs. I believe in deism myself.
