I finished reading this about 4 hours after i got it, i did it one sitting, I couldnt put it down...

anyone else finished reading it yet?...i promise not to give anything away until someone has, but need to talk about it!

I think that Sirius is still alive and that the veil was either people that Voldemort killed or people that were killed or died in a person's lifetime. If it was the second choice, maybe the veil was so that people could visit people they known that died for a time. Plus, maybe the pensieve (if it is) on the front of the book says that Harry is going to go back in his memory and find Sirius or something to do with his own memory.

i think if you read some of the final chapters of order of the phoenix, where theyre in the ministry, that chamber with the veil is referred to as an execution chamber or something like that...i'll re-read those chapters and see, but im not sure if its people voldemort has killed. it would rock if sirius wasnt dead though.

anyone finished half blood prince yet? anyone?

I finished it! I thought I was just going to read for an hour or so, but like with the other books I kind of lost track of time... All I can say is WOW. Rowling's still got it!

definitely. the ending was a much better climax than order of the phoenix, methinks.

Only if being 31 and hooked on Harry Potter makes you crazy too.

BTW, I finished the book at about 11am Saturday (would have finished sooner but my body gave out after being at scout camp Thursday night/Friday).
