We all collect things. Some are esoteric, others are things that are very common of people to collect.
---
My collection centers around sports and anime/manga; I have sports gear (caps, jerseys, the like), anime DVDs, manga, and anime t-shirts (the anime shirts I wear under my sports jerseys).

I used to collest cardboard tubes, not anymore.

I have a collection of 1980's Adidas trainers. I no longer add to the collection as it's too expensive.

I collect information, Magic: The Gathering cards (not so much anymore, as they take up too much space and I lack the time to play), WWII militaria (particularly German), Civil Defense (WWII and Cold War-era) paraphernalia, dice (platonic and non-platonic solids), ammunition (not what I use when shooting), currency and cats (though not intentionally; they just show up).

I collect feathers, rocks, and other odds and ends that I find on the ground, like a small bottle half full of some kind of liquid with the lid rusted on and washers that have been left out in the rain). I used to collect foreign coins when I worked as a cashier, but my collection has gone missing. :(

Oh, and I forgot--I used to collect key chains. My favorite one was an advertisement for a laxative brand that had a big yellow :D that said "Doxidan Did It!" around the outside on one side and "Doxidan in the PM for a BM in the AM" on the other. I still have that one. I found it on the ground.

Games and various gaming merchandise, old and new. I also enjoy getting new movies and tv boxsets :) Also, I still have my old pokemon collection from when I was younger.

I have collected things off and on over the years. But I don't keep it going or else I run out of room and have clutter.

I collect anything I find interesting. More specifically, rare stuff. I typically collect retro games, especially Nintendo games. Collecting video games has always been a hobby. I have several rare games for the Famicom, Nes, etc.

Since working at a charity shop I have started my own teddy rescue centre. When donations get sorted so many soft toys get thrown in the rags bag so I take home the salvageable ones and give them a second home, also clean them and give them a makeover. (As cute as some of these teddies are they do need a good wash.)

I collect toys. Most of my collection centers around My Little Pony stuff (I have 47 plastic toys and 2 plushies), but occasionally I get the urge to buy toys from other shows/movies that I like. For example, I have an Edward Scissorhands figure, several Alice in Wonderland plushies/figures (which are currently sitting in storage), and I have recently ordered plushies of Fionna from Adventure Time and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

I also get the urge to buy plushies whenever I go into a thrift store, because I feel sorry for them and worry that they won't be adopted. This has resulted in a collection of miscellaneous plushies such as a generic unicorn, a Raggedy Ann, a fluffy orange cat, and a couple of bears. But my favorite miscellaneous plush is the polar bear with a blue snowflake scarf that my Nana gave me when she came out to visit 2 years ago.

I collect various types of merchandise that's related to my favourite band. I might need to move into a larger place, soon.
