Like on TV, we all have our certain things we like to say IRL, our 'catchphrases'. Let's share some.
---
Over my life, I've had a few that tend to stick with me, but most tend to last only a few months. Right now, mine are these:
(George Takei voice) "Oh, my...."
"Eeyup."

Kind of a catchphrase, I use them a LOT when writing stories:
"It was right then and there...."
"Wouldn't ya know it...."

"Eeyup."
"Nope."
"Go away."
Come to think of it, that's about all I say IRL.

I 'Sad Day' a lot, to anything that could be even remotely depressing. I caught it from a friend who used to say it, and now some of my other friends say it too. It's good for when you don't really know what else to say :D

I also say "To be honest" and "Huh" a lot. My dad and brother say "Whatever" and my partial boyfriend says "Yep". It isn't funny how people have there own catchphrases?

I tend to say 'Seriously?!' a lot. Even when replying to the most mundane statements.

For example, someone will say: "I went to Paris this summer", I'll be like "Seriously?!"
Or when someone says "I really like to sing, I have sung in a choir", I'll say "Seriously?!" even if it's quite obvious that that person is a great singer.

Some other word, again not a 'phrase' by any means, is a bit more difficult to translate to English. It's the Dutch word 'al', which is 'already' in English, but I used it to indicate that something has finished, or that I've finished doing something.

So someone at work will ask me 'Did you finish cleaning the balcony?', I'll 'al' (already). The problem is that it's kind of a regional, dialect kind of thing, and pretty much no one here in Amsterdam understands what I mean by it, so I always end up explaining.
