New guy here and I’m just introducing myself to my fellow Unique’s.

To start off I’ll talk about my first findings of my Aspergers. It started when I was 11 years of age when I was sent to the SCAR Jasper Mountain Facility in Oregon for personal issues that I suffered from. I was there for approximately 11 months and over that period of time I was diagnosed with multiple disorders; ADHD, RAD, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, and finally Aspergers. After leaving this wonderful place I started noticing certain… well… “Issues”. I had moved from Middleton, Idaho to Garden City, Idaho, and was noticing I was having problems making friends, seeing social cues, voicing my feelings (or showing them in general) ,and other problems. So I went and researched more about Aspergers and I saw that a lot these problems had a lot to do with this Gift. Now, 5 years later I’m struggling to cope with it, though I do a lot better socially. The major things that are my current “Perks” has to be my Anxiety around large crowds and loud noises, small areas, noticing social cues, sometimes making friends, certain texture issues, how my clothing has to be fitted close to my body, heavy blankets/a lot of pillows, Obsessing about things (such as videogames, air soft guns, and mountain bikes), I also have to be wearing something on my head when I’m in public, and other smaller things. There are many ways that I cope with my Aspergers but the main techniques that I use are venting through exercise (mainly mountain biking), drawing, and listening to hardcore music. Another way that isn’t so good is, mimicry of people’s actions, or, like I said before, I have issues voicing and showing my emotions so I would see other people’s expression of emotions and copy them.
Here some non-Aspie “things” about me: I love mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, road trips in the mountains, in other words I’m an outdoorsy person. I like playing Ultimate Frisbee and hacky sack. I absolutely love beanies, cookie monster, bracelets, and hardcore music. In addition to all this, I’m an artist (not painting or anything like that but I do a lot of penciling). Drawing helps me whenever I get upset or depressed, and it seems as if you can read how I feel from what I draw. I’m obsessed with music, my favorite bands are Abandon All Ships, Apocalyptica, Dead by April, For All Those Sleeping, Halestorm, Helia, In This Moment, Linkin Park, Mayday Parade, Of Mice and Men, OneRepublic, Outline In Color, A Skylit Drive, Tonight Alive, Woe is Me, The Word Alive, Skrillex, Creed, Within Temptation, Fun., The Used, Eisbrecher, Volkerball, Rammstein, Bring Me The Horizon, Korn, Three Days Grace, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, Escape the Fate, Asking Alexandria , and A Day to Remember. That’s all the music on my Spotify account... :P
Well that's all I can think of to say so I'm out...

Thanks all for the warm welcome. And yes, Bacon is like candy, once you start eating it, you can't stop...

Welcome. I think I've only heard of three or four of those bands. Boy, I'm getting old! Probably why I listen to classical music so much.

So did I before I found the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator, the only useful software Microsoft has ever offered free. Typical Aspergerian, I spent the next few months creating specialized keyboards for every imaginable purpose from astronomy to zoology.

… which reminds me that I couldn't find any test thread for forum properties — preview isn't necessarily in 1-to-1 relation with output. I take the liberty to test some characters right here: this ♂ is the male sign, this ♀ is the female sign. Yeah, right. That's what I feared. Only code appears. Would Cyrillics work better? Ленинград reads Leningrad. To see the real result, I must hit the Submit button. Moderators, please discard this post if you find it inappropriate.

P.S. Welcome to the forum, Kooze. I'm a newbie, too.
