Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?
Spongebob Squarepants!
Who hasn't been funny since 2003?
Spongebob SquarePants!

That's right ladies and gents. The decline of good quality TV has affected many shows still ongoing and it has no doubt affected Nickelodeon's most iconic cartoon character. Spongebob had a great success during its first 3 seasons followed by a movie for theaters. Season 4 tried to remain decent as did parts of season 5. Season 6 only had a handful of good episodes and the handful decreased for the next season and the next. Spongebob has changed a lot over time but not for the better. In most new episodes, he's become a mind numbing antagonist and the one who suffers is the only character with any remaining likability, Squidward. They say it is the writers' fault, indeed that is often the case.

These three videos I found will explain just how bad Spongebob has become.

If you still want to enjoy the show after this, that's up to you. I won't stop you from continuing to enjoy Spongebob but keep those videos in mind.

Wow... I never realized how creepy Spongebob gets in the later episodes. His feelings toward Squidward went from "subtle gay jokes" in the earlier seasons towards "psychotic stalker" in the later ones. And the gross-out humor is literally nauseating. Also, I'm surprised that those videos didn't mention the episode where Plankton attempts suicide. I clearly remember catching that episode and thinking "this is still meant for kids?"

Meh, I haven't cared about this show in years, so I'm not upset over the decline in quality. Although, it certainly lost it's appeal after season 3, "The Best Day Ever" episode was horrid and "The Splinter" was a cringe fest.

As a should-be paid cartoon maker myself I have never been really happy with the fact that one of the most popular characters on TV has been an extremely annoying talking gay sponge, and nearly all TV shows get worse the longer they're on anyway.

That splinter episode was so gross it was like something out of Ren and Stimpy, which is what this show is basically a knock-off of, anyway.

To Nickelodeon; just put this show out of its misery and concentrate more on "The Legend of Korra."

^^^ Thanks for posting another MoBros review of Spongebob; I find them really entertaining for some reason, and apparently I'm not the only one as on the latest video lots of people in the comments are begging for Part 2!

Here it is. Part 2 of the fan edition of the worst of Spongebob. More ratings traps fueled entirely by false advertising promos.

The review of the new number 1 worst Spongebob episode ever (Fan Edition) will come much much later since MoBrosStudios just got into college and we know what college does to those have a YouTube hobby. I know because I, too, am in college but my current semester has about two weeks left.
