damndest thing. was online last night, blam - 7.7 earthquake on the cascadia subduction zone fault up in canada. after waiting over a half hour for cnn or someone else to break the story (since the google folks had kindly sent out a tsunami warning for the entire west coast), i finally found info on al jazeera.

was over an hour after that that we started getting news. everything is all about the hurricane on the east coast. Hell, everything west of the mississippi river could slide into the ocean and they'd keep giving us the same weather forecast.....

postie, hope you have your water wings handy. take care up there, buddy.

Wait, people live on the other side of the Mississippi? Is it even habitable? :)

On my few trips east of the Mississippi, I never saw anything that looked as good as or better than Texas.
