So, yah. What the title asks.
I wanna get drunk

I don't really know much about beer or alcohol in general.

Water

Well there's different kinds of beer, how much detail are you looking for.

Other then that you can't go wrong with Vodka.

Well, here's a fun fact to think about. If your purpose is to get drunk, you can look forward to waking up in pools of vomit and urine (your own and not your own).

Yah because a guy who's never drank alcohol before should start with vodka, that'll go well.
Frankly all that I know about beer is that I don't like malt, at least not in a soda.
I guess something on the sweet side?

Being drunk doesn't automatically mean totally shitfaced. In this instance a few drinks will do the trick for the OP.

Vodka is actually good because it does the job in reasonable time, it's a good "first drinkers" drink (was what I had when I had my first taste of alcohol at 17). You can mix it with several flavours of soft drink (lemon squash, passionfruit, pineapple, raspberry, ginger beer). Orange juice is another good mixer.
Just make sure you only pour nips and not like, fill 1/2 of the glass with vodka. You might have to measure it out (30ml) then fill the rest of the glass with the soft drink.

WHISKEY.

I drink diet Coke or Pepsi with Lime.

As for beer my preference is anything really dark like Stouts, Porters, Bocks, or Dunkel.

Diet soda; mostly. Then lemonade.

generally diet lemon-lime soda diluted with watered-down fruit juice. maybe i should mix some wine with it so i could call it homeopathic hooch.
now and then i'm fond of dark chocolate red wine served ICE-COLD. same for sweet hard cider. i'd really like to try some molsen golden canadian beer but it is perenneally unavailable in western washington. damn. i tried some michelob honey-brewed lager and some original dos equis dark malt, those were pretty good as long as they were ICE-COLD. but i really want to experience molsen golden once, to see how mellow it is.

Aside from alcohol, I regularly drink coffee or tea.

I'm a fan of dark roasts like Colombian, Black & Tan, Mocha Java, Kona, Rwanda, or Sumatra. I also like black tea especially Chai Spice or Earl Grey.

Later in the day I may have Chamomile tea if I don't want as much of a caffeine load.

Nothing anymore but used to love Rum, Absinthe, Whiskey, Pale lager, Oyster stout & Coffee stout.
