If you are on the East Coast, Dr. Phil is on right now talking to a mother who hates her autistic daughter. Had a news report about a mother who killed her 2 kids because they were autistic. Thought you might be interested.

Is it a new episode? I checked out my local channel here and the new episode is called Moms who hate their own children and it's about moms who get extremely frustrated with their kids and do and say things they later regret share their stories.

Then on the OWN channel is a DR. Phil episode on and it's about dirty little secrets and it has nothing to do with autism.

I think it was a new episode and it was called Moms who hate their Daughters, but he led off with a news report about a mom who claimed to have killed her kids because they were autistic. Then the first mom on the show did have a 14 year old autistic daughter. But the second mom's daughter was not autistic. Turned out both Mom's were "narcissistic moms." I read about it further on the Internet and it's something worth looking into if you felt like your mom expected you to be perfect and didn't seem to have any empathy for you.

Thank you for letting us know - I'm sort of torn b/tw wanting to see it in some way, shape or form and wanting to avoid it because all it's gonna do is either depress or put me in rage mode for the rest of the night and maybe tomorrow. I can't STAND narcissistic mothers. :x

I'm not sure I understand.

Is there supposed to be a connection between the hating on one hand... and the killing on the other?

I was looking for it on my TV around 3 in the afternoon, but it wasn't on any of my channels. I was pissed off at first, than I was thinking that it would have disturbed me a great deal. Maybe it's just as well that I didn't see the show, because I am a sensitive and gentle soul. I saw clippings of the show on the Dr. Phil website.

Well, it's proof that although you need a licence to own a pet or a catch a fish, they will let any f*ckwit be a parent...

I didn't catch the actual episode (which is probably all to the good), but I did see the webpage about it on Dr. Phil's website and watch the clips, etc. Having done that, I only have one thing to say: Monsters ARE indeed real.

You're more likely to kill someone if you hate them.
