Related to bodily sensations such as pain, smell, taste, temperature, vision, hearing, acceleration, and position in space.

These the one's your looking for?

No sensory issues to all, except no clue about acceleration....

Although they is a light that can make me feel really dizzy and nearly pass out, but I have only had it in a vet place so don't really care what frequency it's on.... I have tryed walking in other vet's and a light shop but none make me dizzy so hell know's what it's on...

Last spring i was diagnosed with sensory integration disorder and soon i will be tested for central auditory processing disorder. I hate the feel of velvet, don't like it when people just barely touch me, hate fireworks, the noise of large crowds, the quieter something is the more i hear it, flashing lights or bright lights bother me, hate the texture of yogurt and pudding, clothing tags drive me insane, i cringe at even the thought of nails on a chalkboard, hate the feel of chalk, and a long list of other paticular sounds that i just can't stand and things that i can't stand to touch.

For the record, I am MORE sensitive to some sight/sound, and I am less sensitive to pain on the skin.

I'm senstive to light touch, smell, sound, and taste. But I can stand extreme temperatures ( I don't wear a jacket when it's 37 degrees Farenheit outside because it doesn't bother me), and if I fall or scrape myself it doesn't hurt that much.

I am the SAME way, except I just dislike touch, I don't know why, and I actually go out without a coat even when it is colder. All this time, and nobody figured I might be autistic!? At least one coworker said I was just trying to look like a big shot, and several called me STUPID! What kind of reaction do YOU get?

BTW are temperatures below 37 noticably colder for you, or is that just an arbitrary temperature because it is 5 degrees above freezing?

I can feel the chill, as in I feel how cold it is, but it doesn't make me want to get warmer. People give me weird looks (I now know what they look like), and my mother gets mad at me for not wearing enough clothing in cold weather.

I am slightly different, though, I can be touched, if I know a person is going to touch me, if one touches me from behind, I will jump out of my skin. I like touching texturous things, I also can hear sometimes, but not others(NOT diagnosed with CAP-D, yet, but I have it). I wear sunglasses into stores with artificial lights, the glasses help a little)

There are a few things that really bother me such as, emery boards, the sound of a person filing their nails or even just the thought of touching one sends chills down my spine; pencil lead bothers me, the smell of it and the dirty feeling on my hands if I have to touch it; I don't like to be touched on my back, expecailly if it is unexpected, I will scream; and and anything orange scented, I just can't stand and other things which I can't think of off the top of my head right now. I should keep a list as a go through the day.

So is this from the AS or is it just Eyphur the oddball?

I certainly have some... textures (esp. textile textures) rubbed against my skin (esp. my palms) and loud noises or repeating, staccato noises in a silent environment are by far my worst ones right now.

...the strangest one I've ever had was when I was about 10 or 11, the smell of fried or deep-fried anything gave me the worst headaches... I found this out one day while being baby-sat by my grandma. She was making home-fries and I had to lie down on the couch and she gave me aspirin (which as I recall didn't really do anything) until my mom picked me up, and all i could say to try and explain the headache to them was, "It's the frying-smell!"

I've got very few abnormal sensitivities. Just certain types of fabric I don't like the feel of. That's about it.

I'd say I have some sensory issues, but not severely.

More specifically
Sight: Nothing too abnormal here. Sometimes when I walk out in the sunlight it hurts my eyes. This could be normal though. :?
Sounds: Sudden loud noises(fireworks, balloons popping, thunder, ect), loud talkers. I also seem to have some auditory processing problems as well: I mishear lyrics all the time! Can't talk on the phone when there is too much background noise, troubles listening to conversations with too much background noise, foreign accents are sometimes a problem too.
Smell: I'm mostly hyposensitive, example being not being aware my clothes smell bad. Although the smell of dirty dishes make me want to vomit.
Taste: I'm a very picky eater, don't like certain textures or tastes
Touch: I don't like light touches, and I'm hypersensitive to pain and heat(no wonder I dislike the doctor's so much)
