Any advice on finding Paralegal jobs?

I presume you have the necessary paralegal training course? Without it, there's no point of even applying. If you do, dress your best and drop off resumes to every law office in town!

What state are you in? I think CA is the only state with an actual paralegal educational requirement.

What experience do you have? If you have zero experience, your best bet is to start from the bottom up - take a receptionist or file clerk position and do a fantastic job. Then you can move up the ladder to legal secretary to paralegal. I'm in CA and started this way.

Unfortunately, here in my area people get out of paralegal school and think they'll get a paralegal job with no experience. Ain't happenin'. Paralegal school gives you a lot of theory. Zero reality as to what happens in a law office and legal procedures. With the paralegal certificate you can possibly start in a legal secretarial position and start learning the practical end.
