I am not interested in gambling, however I have played poker a lot online. I find the strategy interesting, I'm not really bothered about the chance aspect of it. I've sort of developed a mentality that focuses on the average expected result and whether my own play was right for the situation, rather than the short term variance of luck. Games of pure chance don't interest me for the same reason, I just see it as giving money away.

My advice:
If you're nt: play poker.
If you're an aspie: play blackjack.
Poker is for folks who can bluff and can read faces.
Blackjack is for folks who can count cards.
Poker is much more mathematical and analytical than the popular conception of it. Focusing on how people play and figuring out the best response is much more important than trying to pick up on some tell. I suspect it's quite suited to aspies.
