Hint. Does the name B'nai Gay tell you something or not.

Not as obvious a joke as you may think...there was an exclusively gay church years ago in San Francisco named 'The Church Of The Beloved Apostle'.
I am not joking.

An important reminder that not all members of a religion can be tarred with the same brush.

Ordinarilly I disagree with your posts, but you've pretty much hit the nail on the head here.

How many gay churches or synagogues are there?

My daughter lived in Seattle and there is a Gay church there,She said it had a big Rainbow flag and a banner that said "Everyone is Welcome", I bet there's a few on the west coast.

I recall years ago hearing of a gay church here in Spokane. As I haven't heard anything about it for some time, it may not have lasted (which would be a shame), or perhaps the novelty wore off, and the local news just stopped reporting on them.

There is even a synagogue in NYC for homosexual Jews. Congregation B'nai Gay. Only one trouble. When the Purim festival comes around everyone wants to play Queen Esther. They have to import Lesbians to play King Achashveros and Haman.

If they made king Xerxes look like the one from 300, wouldn't they have any leather types in the congregation fighting for the role?

Balls of Steel is a colossal understatement in this case.

DearColdEyesWarmHeart,
You said it very well; I believe that we all feel the same way.

I wouldn't disagree with this statement but it's also a lie to say that a tiny minority of young UK Muslims support terrorism or that anything other than a great majority of them aren't extremely homophobic (more so than French Muslims, definitely, but probably not that much more than black Caribbean-born Christians or active members of the BNP.

So, I definitely agree that Muslims absolutely should not be tarred with the same brush but equally, opinion polls should be heeded.
