Just heard breaking news about a shooting at a grammar school in CT. Turn the tv on.

It's on CNN if you have it,there was a caption under it that said 22 in a Chinese school have been stabbed with a knife,WTF is up with people.

What parent lets their kid be interviewed by journalists after going through something like that? It's a dozen fatalities right now.

This is one reaction I'm having. Every time I see that interview with a little girl embedded in a page on CNN, I want to alternately vomit and throw things. So incredibly exploitative, I don't even have words.

I don't knw, I'd sure want to tal about it to everybody that could hear if I was there. I'd want to tell everybody I knew. It gets it out of your system.

Funny my reply got deleted without my authorization? I thought this was a place where comments could be posted without being all childish and deleting those that have a different opinion.

I'll repeat.

This is what to expect when you live in America.
Not the first school shooting, certainly will not be the last.
Am I surprised? No.
Saddened, obviously, but you have to expect these incidents happening with such outdated, backward, dangerous laws allowing anyone to carry a weapon that kills.
Guns were designed to kill. That is why they were built. That is why they are sold. That is why they are used. If you do not put in the correct safety measures - an total ban - then you have to expect people to buy and use them.

I cannot see why anyone would defend guns over the right to live.
