Sadly this happens on lots of forums.
A self important few tend to chat amongst themselves and ignore all other posters.

I wouldn't take too seriously anything that happens on Facebook, especially people ignoring you there. Consider what they do pay attention to. You're probably too reasonable to be appreciated there.

I've been ignored all my life. Right now, frankly, I'd just as soon be ignored. It grows on you. Attention tends to bring me more trouble than I want.

I'm sorry you feel ignored. Everyone deserves to be heard.
I find that things like this go in waves - sometimes people are replying to my posts and sometimes everyone seems to be ignoring me.

I deleted my FB account years ago because no one ever posted on my page or photos or comments or news or info article thingies. I think it was back then i realised no one actually gave a monkeys WHAT i did with my life

I am only on FB because it makes it easier to communicate with a few people that I need/want to communicate with and (yes, this one is sad) because it's one of the few things that reminds that there are other people out there. =)

(also, when you other websites: look, you've already got 10 people replying to you here.)
