Some racism does spring in response to oppression, if that's what you mean. But intolerance of racism should probably be described with a different term (or a short sentence).

"Racism" is a creed ( a belief, perhaps it could even be called an ideology)but it is not a "race".

So you cant be 'racist' against 'racism'.

"Reverse racism" or "'positive' discrimination" could be described as racist.

An easy finger to point at would be Caucasians due to history and such but you know caucasians discriminate each other as well.

caucasians are already the least racist people now. Yes they used to be racist but it's probably about the same with anyone.

You mean mongols are not racist? They put people in position based on race.

In fact, the mongol would put people of different race to govern a specific area. For example, chinese will be governed by persian governor. This ensures that the persian governor is loyal to the mongol ruler instead of the chinese people. Why? Because Genghish Khan knows that everybody is racist.

Putting chinese governor to govern chinese population will make the chinese "unite" with their local government more.

Racism is a form of large scale family value. Imagine you are indicted in court and all the jury and the judge is your family. You'll be smiling. We know people love their own family that this won't happen. Judges must be impartial. So by ensuring that the juries are not your family, we recoqnize that people favor their family over others.

Does that happen in race? Obviously.

Most black would support affirmative action. Most chinese would oppose it. Most jews won't care because they're not affected anyway despite their obvious over representation in anything that may win nobel price. And white males obviously oppose it unless they're hispanic, which is white that somehow count as non white.

I do not see racism as better or worse than any other preferences. To hate someone because he is racist is about as stupid as hating someone because he is muslim or christians. Neither is a "race". But may be I am missing something here?
