What's up with the captcha security thing?

I was posting an embeded video to a topic and it brought me to some security page where I had to enter a captcha. I did this and it sent me to another one and another and so one. I know they were right too... and it still kept bringing me to another one each time. I really don't like captchas because they mess with my brain and make it difficult to do them.
