I've been to parties and I don't really talk to anyone, too loud and noisy for my taste.

Any party goers here who also is an Aspie?

Midnight has just passed here in the UK. I spent the evening at home with my family. I couldn't see the point of going to the pub - it'll be busy and filled to the brim with arrogant people who never normally set foot in the place.

No, I wouldnt mind downloading a movie but I am clueless about movies... I hate everything except a select few. I may play XBox360 for a bit. Relish in the fact I dont have to wake up tomorrow and go to work. God, I just wish I had some pot

I went to a prty for a little bit, but got bored because I had nothing in common with the people, and then My best friend and I picked up newbie, got some food and went to his place, he was a bad host so we went home.

Pretty fun night.

Nope. I'm sitting on my couch watching a documentary about Henry VIII and cooking some potato soup (and reading WP, obviously).

I think we are having fireworks on SecondLife ( http://secondlife.com ), if you are planning to be inworld tonight you can go by ALF ( http://autistics.org/) headquarters at "Porcupine 37, 185, 105" or thereabouts.

That sounds like fun.

I don't do a 4th of July party either. Besides, it was raining this past 4th of July, so we couldn't really do anything.

Yeah totally overloading loud. but on SL you can put the mute button. Although, I know it might be too loud VISUALLY for many auties.

Well, anyway, anyone is welcome over there and muskie said she will end with (fake of course) nuclear blowing things up. Should be fun.

Party?!? Have you lost your mind? I will be eating chicken noodle soup and crackers with my cat. I also have a bouquet of fluffy butter coloured roses! (OOOH! AAAH!). I'm all wrapped in cashmere & I feel so comfortable & cosy. Why go somewhere to me mauled by rude drunks? The most my cat will do is shed on my carpet but she's always sober & never tries to feel me up! We'll share soup (crackers aren't her bag) , yawn, stretch & sleep. Bye!

I don't go to parties, only family ones. It's just us family and my brother's friends and me doing my own thing. My brothers are going to shoot of fireworks tonight.

Not really. There are better things to celebrate, like Christmas, Easter or Thanksgiving.

The bottom line is that New Years is not a religious holiday.

One more hour to go here. I would be firing an AK-47 into the air if it weren't for that damn Brady Law.
