at least back when i was in high school in late 90's early 00's. The aspie /lrc male came into two forms:
the quiet nerdy type and the wannabe gangster type. maybe it was just my school but even today i see alot
of young aspie men with baggin pants, hat backwards, and talking all gansters.
maybe it just an oregon thing.

What, you mean like the clip below? (Note: it does have some vulgar language lol). I think a lot of them do it just in an effort to be "cool" and fit in. I can't say I ever acted like a gangster or anything, but when I was younger I did used to listen to a lot of rap music and use some of the lingo when I talked. Not because I liked it necessarily, but because it's what all of the popular people in my area did, so I figured if I did the same it'd help me to make more friends or be more popular. Of course it didn't help much, but it did garner me a few shocked looks and interesting reactions when this nerdy little white kid said he was a huge fan of mos def and talib kweli lol.

Why is this solely an Aspie thing? It was never like that here. All it was in high school was popularity contests and finding groups to fit in. These days it's all about finding out where you fit in.

I think people like OGFurious and Jon Lajoie are funny and they act gangsta, although of course I know it's a joke. I've written a few gangsta raps (about things like working at a restaurant or being a boyscout), which are really corny. Sometimes on the internet I talk gangsta because I think it is funny. I've never dressed or acted gangsta in real life though.

COme to think of it, I kinda tried to act that way when I was 14 and 15. I've never seen another aspie do it though.

What episode is that clip from? I don't know why. A lot of people are influnced by pop culture around them. I would be quite irked by having to pull or hold my trousers every two minutes from slipping down.
