I consider a Hispanic/Latino/err... whatever US president an almost inevitable outcome sooner or later due to changes in demographics.

@GGP Viper:
IMOO, the problem with a Hispanic President is people would likely call him or her an illegal immigrant in the same way many call President Obama a terrorist.

IMOO, I think now that the color barrier has been broken with President Obama, I think voters should consider next electing a woman as President or an openly gay person as President.

If he or she is higher-functioning or is an Aspie, then yes.

I'd hope people don't vote for someone based on race, sexual orientation and/or mental disorder.

That ain't policy, that's bias.

No biggie. Such accusations did not stop Obama from being elected... twice... But then again, people say that Obama is black. :roll:

I'd vote for someone that was all of the above if I thought they were qualified.

Americans will vote for a male who has a good chin, the chin of a leader.

It shouldn't matter, I will vote for whoever is qualified and shares my beliefs.

I think that Americans could elect any of them in 2016 except "blind" or "deaf". And those two are to do with practical reasons, not bigotry.

Electing a guy called Barack Hussein Obama in the current climate is more impressive than any of the things on the list except "blind" and "deaf".

Probably not a blind or deaf president. Blind because people wouldn't perceive him as a capable leader (truth is, it can be hard to grasp many things if you can't see them...imagine trying to analyze the economy without being able to read the reports or see the charts/graphs), deaf because he wouldn't be able to debate or have televised statements.

I agree with Dillogic in that people should not vote *because* they fit in one of those categories.

If you disagree with their platforms, what's the point?

I'm waiting for the guy who's blind, deaf, and mute; his ability to f*ck things up will be limited.

All of the above, but regardless of his/her background, that person will still be a puppet of the two party system controlled by the rich.
