Most forums have a button that takes you to the newest post in the thread since you last visited the thread. Very useful, how do I do that here?

The small white symbol to the right of the last poster's name will take you to the last post.

You might want to activate the option "Always notify me of replies", available in your profile settings (it's currently off) - then, when someone posts to a thread you will receive a notification.

If that option is selected, the notification is automatic for those threads you've created or posted to - although you can also manually select any thread to receive update notifications for by selecting the "Watch this topic for replies" link at the bottom of the thread's display. (note that owing to a minor bug in the forum software you must be viewing the first page of a thread for this to work)

The forum software is still a bit stone-age though.
