I have looked around on this site and I may be in the wrong place - does anyone know of a site for family members who live with, and as caretakers of, people with Aspergers?

Uhhhh... This is a site DEVOTED to autism spectrum and its experiences. Effectively yes, you may be in the... "Wrong Place".

This forum has several sub-forums which might be of interest to you. The Parent's Discussion and Love and Dating sub-forums contain many discussions on how Non-Autistic individuals socialize with individuals on the Autistic spectrum.

If it doesn't fit, then there is always the General Autism Discussion for any topic concerning autism.

And this site isn't a closed club . It might be the wrong planet, but it could still be the right place...

The sign in on the site has a category for people who have Aspergers family members - so I thought, mistakenly, that the site might address that.

Saw the love and dating forum - yeah - that would not apply, but thank you. I am 62 years old and have been married to my son's father for nearly 19 years. And it has been very difficult.

Sarcasm is not necessary. In fact - it is just mean. I was looking for a site where there were people who share the same difficulties.
Did not expect that sort of a reply at all.

Welcome to Wrong Planet. Your general topic (care taker/spouse) is not uncommon here on this site. I have seen such posts on General Autism, Parents Forum & Love and Dating. There is much insight to be gained here by reading around and many questions are generously answered.
