Hello, I'm the new guy (obviously). I'll start off by introducing myself. My real first name is John and I'm an Aspie who was diagnosed in the summer of 2007. Back then I didn't understand what Asperger's Syndrome was, and I merely treated it as an excuse to leave school and hour early for Group Therapy.
I'm bit of a writer too, particularly fanfiction. In my opinion, it is the fan's right to correct the mistakes (the mistakes being however you wanted something to turn out) of the show's writers with their own fiction. My particular area of fanfiction is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (many Aspies who are bronies will agree with me on that). If anyone is interested, let me know and I can link you to a sample. As a fanfiction writer, I have concepted a 10 novel series (as my ideas are too long to be put into one story), however, only four of which involve MLP (sorry bronies).
I am a High School Senior, and after graduation I intend to join the US Army Reserve (Aspies can join the military if they have a waiver from a doctor). The college I intend to go to also has a ROTC Program (That is where college students go through a military program to make them officers upon graduation).
Some Aspies are obsessed with math, others cars, if I have an obession, it is military history. I like to study the tactics and strategies of different era's armies, from the ancient Greek's Hoplites, to the Roman Legions (Julius Caesar being my favorite general hence the Caesar in my nickname), to more modern day guerilla warfare. I am working on memorizing Sun Tzu's The Art of War, and Xenophon's Anabasis (basically it's ten thousand Greeks stuck in Persia, and their march west back to Greece). However, I am aware that not everyone here is as obsessed with military history as I am, so I'll continue about myself.
So if anyone wants to dicuss My Little Pony Fanfiction or talk about history, i'm the person to go to.
