If they do make another batman film what would you like too see in it?

Here is what I would like too see in terms of casting for important characters
Jake Gylenhaal as batman
Robert Carlyle as Mr Freeze
Anthony Hopkins as Alfred
Rock Dwayne Johnson as killer crock

They could do a film based on arkum asylum or batman if the future? It would be a reboot

I always thought David Warner would be perfect for Mr. Freeze.

No - was rumoured before Bale got the part
No - too short.
No - Hopkins turned down the role in Begins
Are you high or drinking Rock's kool aid?

If anything, it should be either a Long Halloween adaptation or one based on the Arkham Asylum/City games.

Lexington well don't u think it would be cool if the rock had a small part playing a crook in a batman film?

He's not a bad actor not too mention he's 6ft3 and built like a brick s**t house. The rock in fact has the perfect physical build for bane.

how about charles dance? He is the quintessential movie villain.

i'd quite like to see Jonny Depp as the Riddler. Plus his natural kookiness would be a nice tilt of the hat to the Tim Burton version of the movies.

The real issue is... Who is going to play The Joker?

After all, Jack Nicholson was nominated for an Oscar for his performance, and Heath Ledger won an Oscar for his performance.

... Christoph Waltz, perhaps?

I think Bane is pretty much gone as a movie character for several years to come.

It will probably take decades to find anyone who comes close to the performance of Tom Hardy...

I'd like to see someone less "buff" as Batman, though... It would be a nice change...

A few suggestions off the top of my head:

Harley Quinn - Zooey Deschanel
Catwoman - Maggie Gyllenhaal
The Penguin - Paul Giamatti
Poison Ivy - Angelina Jolie
Scarecrow - Robert Carlyle
Commissioner Gordon - Edward Norton

I agree that Charles Dance has to be in there *somewhere*, though... But perhaps *he* should be Alfred?

Unfortunately any future Batman series will try, because you have to have The Joker show up at some point. Bane isn't as essential a character so Tom Hardy's performance will still be what people remember.

No, in fact i would rather prefer Ron Perlman as Killer Croc in the Batman: Arkham Asylum incarnation. Trouble is, that version is eleven feet and basically an animal/cannibalisitc murdererer, so that would be hard.

For other choices for future movies, I'd prefer....

Commissioner Gordon - Bryan Cranston
The Joker - Vincent Cassel
The Penguin - Ray Winstone (Arkham City version would be ACE!)
Mr Freeze - Tobin Bell
The Mad Hatter - Martin Short
Black Mask - Mark Strong/Ryan Gosling
The Riddler - Hugh Laurie (Come on, he screams the part!)
Hugo Strange - John Malkovich
Victor Zsasz - Ben Foster (Spacker Dave from the Punisher)

My default choice for Mr Freeze is either Ben Kingsley or Kevin Bacon, but Tobin Bell would be a brilliant choice. He has that look for Freeze.

Other choices:

Talia Al Ghul - Olivia Wilde/Gemma Arterton
Poison Ivy - Christina Hendricks
Catwoman - Charlize Theron
Scarecrow - Brad Dourif

I hope a reboot isn't too soon (And as far into the future as I can see, which is two years, it isn't). We need time to miss it first, I think. Then we can go haywire rebooting it.
Besides, I want to see how Man of Steel (next summer's Superman movie) turns out.

If a Batman Beyond movie is made in the future, the cast should be:

Batman/Bruce Wayne: Frank Langella

Terry McGinnis: Zac Efron

The Riddler: Sam Rockwell

The Joker: Christoph Waltz

Mr. Freeze: Dwayne Johnson

Commissioner Gordon: Hugh Laurie

Catwoman: Emma Thompson

Johnny Depp would make an interesting Riddler, that's for sure. But I would prefer to see him as the Mad Hatter. I was totally obsessed with his role as Tim Burton's Mad Hatter, so I would really get a kick out of seeing him play the Batman version of the Mad Hatter. :D

They haven't done a live action Mad Hatter since the 60's Batman series. I'd like to see that. They also have never done Ventriloquist/Scarface, Killer Croc, or Clayface.

Depp seems like the fanboy choice for The Riddler, every forum I've browsed has touted him as a potential choice to play Batman's perennial enemy. If he ever got the part, he should be like the Arkham City version, attention-seeking, condescending and obsessive-compulsive.

As for the Mad Hatter, the character was portrayed as a paedophile in classic stories such as Haunted Knight.

I myself would rather see the rumors that were going around after The Dark Knight that the next Batman movie would have Robin Williams as The Riddler. He could definitely pull it off and hes twice the actor Johnny Depp thinks he is.
