Well I suppose a proper introduction is in order when you come to a new place so here we go.
I'm Thomas, I'm 23, study electronics at Gent High School for adults (I live near Gent, Belgium). I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome 11 years ago. Some time ago I was thinking about creating a forum or internet site for people with ADHD and Autism Spectrum "Disorder" (sometimes I just think we're the next step in evolution) only to stumble upon this place by accident! I'm interested in history, politics, amateur radio (Ham radio for the Americans amongst us) and psychiatric disorders and how to cope with them caught my attention too. My life the latest years was a struggle against alcohol addiction, poverty and gettings my bearings right. I found out one can fight anything except his/here own character, especially being an Asperger. I have seldom met any Aspergers except my sister (so much for the genetical factor 
) and my best friend ever. When I'm not with them I feel like I'm on the wrong planet. I hope I'll find some like-minded people and some answers here.
