Has anyone here seen this show? It finished in 2010 and had 4 Seasons.
This video of the intro to Season 3 will explain what it's about. But basically it's a reality show where 9 people are put into isolation pods and the only one they can talk to is Val, who is meant to be a computer program experimenting on humans. They can quit at any time.
During a Treatment (which does not end until someone quits, even then Val keeps it going a while longer), they have no idea if the other people have quit and they're pointlessly struggling mentally and/or physically for no reason, but if they push the red button and quit first, then they go home. So it's just Val says in the opening says, they're competing against themselves. And one of them says "This is a psychotic experiment show... not a reality show. (he sings the rest) Let's see if anyone can go nuts"
So think about it, how far could you push yourself?

I think it's the best reality show ever and I cannot see why it isn't still on.

It's very psychological and some of them do go a bit crazy, which is something I really enjoyed watching. I found the whole thing to be very interesting. Watching their behavior in certain situations and how they'd react to what little knowledge they get of each other, the judgements etc. They do allow a bit more communication (through Val) in later Seasons, though. Which I think sucks and takes away from the idea of the show, although it does makes things more interesting in some ways.

I'd love to talk about the show if anyone is interested.

And I'm thinking of making a "Best of" video and uploading it to Youtube, since there are quite a bit of funny and interesting moments.

That program would be a walk in the park for those of us on the spectrum, or maybe I should say, those of us on the spectrum with avoidance issues like myself.

Yeah, the solitary part would be amazing. Sure, it would also get incredibly boring but I have occupied myself within my own mind for hours at a time and I love being alone. It gives me time to work s**t out as well as let my imagination go wild.
As for enduring hours of pain, sometimes non-stop, that shouldn't be a problem. However, I'm not as strong physically.
I really hope they bring it back and give it an Australian version.
