This week I broke up with my bf of 3 years. I ended it as it wasnt working.

I am also sitting important exams in the upcoming weeks.

In theory I know I should go out with friends, pursue my hobbies etc to keep myself in check mentally.

However, I cant stop thinking about the relationship and what went wrong, am worried how I will cope without him, I also feel guilty that he feels hurt and cried but also feel hurt that he called me a robot when I was only trying to keep calm in a difficult situation and was afraid I would get too emotional and change my mind.

I had been thinking of breaking things off in a while and thought it better to wait until I had my exams over as I was scared I would mess them up, however, this was not possible as I was very unhappy and indecision on my part of what I wanted was hurting him so I ended it.

I am worried about him and how he will cope with the break up too and don't know if I should contact him further in the future.

I will probably see a counsellor in a few weeks when the holidays are over but what can I do in the meantime to keep myself sane and be productive studying?

Breakups really hurt since we are so attached to a person. Their aura merges into our
And if relationship was physical its even more hard to let go.
If you have a large friend circle, social life and activities you will bounce back soon.
But if you have a isolated life without any support you will find it hard to cope

Atleast you have the focus on exams which will make it easy for you to cope
Divert your whole energy on books and studies and you will do well.

good luck :)

The truth is rather focus on school than to have a boyfriend. I'll just get rejected, anyway.
