I think alex made a typo on his hosting cost line

little over a week ago:

When I look at the forum today:
"Our hosting costs exceed $280/month. Support the Site!"

Though I am glad to note that since the transition to Apache2, etc. his uptime has gone drasticly up!

(so alex, did apache2 fix your memory leak with the CGI client? and do you have the socket limitations sorted out now?)

nope, that's not a typo. We're paying $280/month minimum

Yeah you have to pay for the number of page impressions usually at hosting services. That number can not be determine in advance.

Actually, I have to pay to rent an entire webserver and pay for it to be placed in a facility with 24/7 monitoring and hardware support.
