Right, I thought I'd start this off. There's plenty of things... 'You know you've/'re _____ (for long) when ____', this is another one. IN other words, these are signs to look for of wrongplanetallius - which is a term I just made up - this is how you tell when you've been a wrongplanteer for too long. I'll start:

1.You start looking for your post count on other sites
2.You start looking for the avatar link entry bar on other sites

right, I thought i'd start this Frank Bough. there's plenty of things... we you start calling yourself by your username in real life

...you've been here for more than a year and a half.

...you've permanently associated people with their avatars and it bothers you when they change avatars.

...you remember when Alex still had the little alien dude as his avatar.

...you remember such characters such as (but not limited to) vetivert, hale_bopp, RobertN, Sean, BeeBee, ghotistix and Mockingbird.

...and you still keep in touch with at least one or more of the above people.

...you remember when there was no haven area.

...you remember when the news and current events forum was first made.

...the words "Big Brother is Watching You" have meaning to you outside of the context of Orwell's book.

...you remember everyone getting excited when the 2000th member joined.

...and you still think that was a large site.

...you made your first post so long ago that you don't even remember what it was about or the forum it was in.

...you remember GhostHunter and the Starship Spectrum adventures.

...and you actually took part in the adventures.

...and you're disappointed that these adventures are no longer happening.

...so you're going to muster up everyone who is ready for another adventure and begin them anew.

...you think of about ten other things you can add onto this list without even pondering it.

This is about all I can come up with for now. Yes, I am probably dating myself, but such is life.

Someone says something funny in real life, and instead of laughing, you try to find the appropriate emoticon.

You get your avatar tattooed on your face, and demand that people use your title.

You say "l-o-l" instead of laughing.

When you daydream at school of the next thread you're about to make.

You tell yourself you'll view one more topic or make one more post before you go to bed, then find you've stayed up all night.

You dream that you're on WrongPlanet, when you're sleeping.

A lot of this happens to me too with my cat site!

When you wake up from a cold sweat in the middle of the night
from a nightmare in which Alex is in a Borg uniform laughing evilily
"WP just hit 10000 members, next the world!"
