Today, well I was attending my block 4 computer sciences class as it is Friday we are allowed 45 minutes of free time to do what we wish at our leisure. I decided to play YuGiOh with a friend. We played for 23 minutes and another student stepped in and began to poke fun and jest the game. This bothers me but I just tend to ignore those people. He asked if he could see my cards and I don't let anyone but myself touch them. I said no so he grabbed them and my other friend retrieved the stolen card. I was fine but late he came by touched them again and I told him not to. Later the same thing happened but this time I couldn't control myself. I grabbed his wrist and twisted it and told him never to touch them again. He screamed in pain and I let go. The instructor told me I was in trouble. How am I in trouble? Please explain this situation and what I should do next time.

Also I am a grade 10 student, 15 years old and I was diagnosed at only 13 with Aspergers.

resorting to physical violence is a bad choice unless you are dealing with being raped, maimed, or killed. the kid who wouldn't leave your cards alone isn't blameless, but you escalated the situation. you both deserve some sort of consequences.

Just tell the instructor that the student is annoying/bullying you next time instead of trying to ignore it. Things might escalate again if you try to ignore it.

Responding with physical force should only be done in self defence. A physical move, such as you grabbing the other student, is much more aggressive and viewed more negatively by people than verbal abuse, as it can have immediate and obvious negative results (the other boy screaming, drawing attention from the instructor). Generally try to avoid responding with more force or aggression than the other person so that you do not take all of the blame.

As Andras has said, it is usually better to immediately appeal to an authority figure. Inform them of the problems you are having with the other student. Make a list if that is easier, and tell them what effect it is having on you - that it bothers you, that you feel threatened, so on. The instructor might not realise that you are the actual, original victim. Try and maintain a rational mindset to prevent overreacting.

You are probably aware that the type of bullying you are experiencing is prevalent, so please try to take precautions with your things. If people know you like something they will sometimes try and ruin it. Keep your cards hidden or safe.
