Unfamiliar social situations can be more difficult for aspies to navigate. Try to give him, his words and actions, the benefit of the doubt. You say he is a nice guy so he likely doesn't mean anything hurtful to you. You are both trying to adjust to the other person so it might take a bit of time, but if you like each other why do you need to rush.

Wonder how long this is going to last?
I think if she's still attracted to him even after he locked himself into his room while she was visiting, this sounds like a big joke to me.
And what company would see an employee with major social problems as an asset today? Most IT jobs today are in support and service fields and that requires very good social skills.
