Highly recommended, actually the best film I have seen for a long, long time.

Only in Norwegian, so sub-titles for most of us.

The title says it all, don't watch the trailer, it's a spoiler.

I loved it, too - did you see Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale? Also excellent.

In general escandinavia has quite a level with horror movies.

Two more recommendations:

- Frostbitten, about vampires.
- Cold prey, slasher.

Hey guys. Thanks for recommending these films. The few Nordic films I've seen (Let the Right One In, Dead Snow, Antichrist, etc) have been pretty good. I'm thrilled to see the continued popularity of the horror of fairy tales is very much in cinematic existence worldwide. I'll also be checking out the Korean film 'A Tale of Two Sisters' soon.

A Tale of Two Sisters is amazing. Don't read anything about it. Don't even watch a trailer. The less you know, the better.

Another really nice korean one:

I also like the Hong Kong horror/fantasy film Re-Cycle.

If you liked A Tale of Two Sisters, you might like Three...Extremes (though that one is pretty graphic, even for horror. It's interesting to see the influences of three different countries.)
