Why do ads keep popping up when I click on something on WP?

This only started doing it today, even though my internet is somehow overran by some ad yieldmanager s**t what I didn't put on to my computer but to get rid of it completely I've got to pay, and I am not paying to get rid of something that I didn't intentionally put on to my computer.

Anyway, back to topic, every second time I click on to something on this site, a pop-up ad appears, adding new tabs each time and will probably end up crashing the system. I don't know if it's something to do with this site only, being so it isn't happening on any of the other sites, and has only starting happening today for some reason.

Is anyone else having this here, or is it just another ad s**t my computer has downloaded itself?

Sorry to hear you have something uninvited on your computer.
You can try to disable any add-ons in your web browser
You could try system restore,
You might want to back up your most important data.
Ask a friend who is a computer wiz to help.

Sometimes these things are not so easy to get rid of. The easiest thing to do is start over, that is a clean install of the OS.

Sounds like you've invited some more malware onto your system. I noticed in another thread that you use Real Player - as I remember that comes loaded with crapware nowadays. So you probably infected your computer with the crap that tends to bundle with other software nowadays.

Well I have just updated my antivirus and I've done a full scan on my computer. It says everything is running normally and all detected viruses have been defeated, and now there is an icon at the bottom right hand corner of my screen that says ''your system is protected and secured, all viruses are blocked/shielded''. That was how it was before I got all this trouble. Admittedly the ad yieldmanager tabs have stopped since I updated my virus protection.

But that still doesn't stop me from getting these annoying ad serverplus pop-ups nearly every time I click on to something on certain sites like WP. It then creates a load of new internet windows all over the place. Yes, I've tried going into Chrome settings and blocking ad serverplus, but it still doesn't do anything. There's probably like a thousand different ad serverplus pop-ups, so blocking just one isn't going to demolish the whole thing, if you know what I mean (that's what it seems to me anyway).

Lastly, I don't want to uninstall Realplayer yet because I've still haven't finished putting all of my songs from there on to Itunes (which my mate helped me to download last week and said that was what she uses and is really good). I can't transfer all of my songs from Realplayer on to Itunes because I've tried that and it wants me to pay online to do that, or when I try the free version it ain't let me continue until I have brought a T-shirt (an offer they are forcing me to have, so that they can still get money out of me). And no, I am not ready to register my bank card online. So anyway I've got to do it the long way, which is go into Youtube, type the name of the song, check Realplayer to see if I have the right version of the song*, copy and paste the address thing on to Youtube to MP3 site, download it on to my computer, go into Itunes, select ''file>import to playlist'', click on the song from downloads, and then it's up on my Itunes. That takes so long to do that I can only do a few a day, otherwise it becomes too repetitive and boring.

*Because sometimes there is the right name and singer for the song you're looking for, and then it just ends up being the song being video'd from a screen, with poor sound quality. AHH WHY DO PEOPLE DO THAT????! !! !! !! !! !! !!

It still sounds like you have some sort of malware on your system or associated with your browser; it is just that your anti-virus isn't finding it or isn't treating it as a virus. I don't recommend using your computer for any purchases online with your bank card - your system does not sound secure. Anti-virus software only have a detection rate of anywhere between 90% and 98%, meaning some can slip though undetected - the only symptoms being strange behaviour on your computer such as these extra advert windows keep popping open.

I also keep getting these annoying ads coming up from ''LoveFilm.com'' when I'm browsing on Youtube. I don't think that is anything to do with malware or infection because each time I ask Google about tips of how to stop them, nothing comes up that complains about it. It's only about people who have registered and are downloading or buying or watching films from it, which I am not doing and don't remember subscribing or signing up for any s**t like that. So I have no idea of how I can get it removed from keep coming up when I'm on Youtube.
