Here are two groups I use on facebook for dating and advice. One is open (anyone can read the posts) and the second one is new but is closed - so only members can read posts. You can join the open group and just browse or send a private message to anyone you might be interested in if you are afraid to post.

Both groups have a thread where people post their age & location. It's much easier to search than that odd-bods list.
