Charged for screaming during childbirth? That's ridiculous, if childbirth wasn't painful then I'm sure that women wouldn't scream.

Oh, so that's what that $8000 charge for foam latex plugs was on my hospital bill! :lol:

But seriously--how could someone even keep track of that? I there someone who stands there and makes a tick-mark every time she screams? If this practice was instituted in the U. S., the patient would be billed for the service of "extraneous high-decibel vocalization monitoring".
