9:57 EST: Judge order "No Outbursts" during or after reading of verdict.

9:58 EST Jury hands written verdict to judge.

9:59 EST NOT GUILTY!!

If they riot, and if a black kills a white, then the NYTimes will write a piece demanding us to "understand" the rage that lead up to it, and if a white kills a black, we are back to a Treyvon Part Two.

The social crusades of the Left will never end until people accept that the entire country is a living embodiment of the Jim Crow South, and we therefore institute racist pro-black policies, and subsidies of every imaginable kind. There will be another Christopher Dorner, another Tyler Clementi, another Sandra Fluke, another Duke Lacrosse, until the country conforms to their Trinity, of Race, Gender, and Class.

We in the Los Angeles area put up with this crap after the Rodney King verdict back in '92. It's nothing new to us.

Hopefully it won't come to that this time.

Not sure it was the wrong call. The jury had nothing to go on as to who started it. They obviously didnt accept the gf's phone account for whatever reason. Or it was also too vague.

Next up might be a civil trial. That's where OJ lost. If he loses he'll never save a dollar in his life.

Amanda Knox is a good example of national bias rearing its ugly head (just one type of factionalism). However even as a Britisher, it was obvious to me that the conviction was not safe and the prosecution's story did not really add up. So therefore you have to go with innocent until proven guilty.

Had the national situation been reversed I have no doubt there would be plenty of Americans who would insist on her guilt. The vast majority of people on both side were not coming at this from an objective position.

However to be honest I have little sympathy, her behavior was appalling, she was guilty of falsely implicating a man she knew was innocent, and perverting the course of justice. These are crimes in their own right, and she has shown little remorse for them. Probably the time she has already served is enough, I don't know.

On the other hand the obsession on her exclusively was disproportional, her odd behavior included.

It also occurred to me that although it is not likely that they had this encounter with Guede, it is possible that they encountered the crime scene in a different way that described, and didn't have the wherewithal to leave it in situ.

The really tragedy is the Rudy Guede has been able to manipulate the system to get less time.

I have a problem with civil suit in these sort of situations.

Zimmerman was acquitted the minute his lawyer succeeded in keeping blacks off the jury. The case was over at that point. Sanford, FL is one-third black. But they didn't have even one single African American on the jury. If they had even one black member on the jury, it would have been at least a hung-jury, maybe even a conviction.
