The older a person gets, the more likely he or she will need glasses. Unless the person opts for laser surgery.

I wear glasses, but I predate the gamer generation. I remember in college I saw my first home video game -- pong -- and was less than impressed.

I'm not sure if I have geek interests. Are classic movie aficionados geeks? Are fans of historic mysteries geeks? Dresden Files? I was a big Harry Potter fan in the day, but I didn't dress up as a Slytherin or buy a wand. I did write fan fiction though.

Glasses here but I prefer art, books and film to gaming. As far as geek stuff, I do like some sci fi and horror but my mom wears glasses and she hates gaming, sci fi and horror. I think all glasses points to is myopia, astigmatism, far sightedness or other visual impairment.

Lots of girls I known with glasses at school or work were nerds who liked reading non geek stuff & they weren't gamers.

Actually, all girls with glasses are mutant superheroes in disguise. It's how we mask our secret identities. 8)

So all wearers of glasses must have an aversion to carrots. :albino:

Carrots don't improve vision, they improve the muscles.

I want glasses. Always have. My big brother had them so that made them COOL.

Also.... carrots make your eyes blue, according to my grandpa. And I will forever be 6 years old when it comes to my grandpa, so he's forever right. :)

There are muscles in the eyes too.

I don't think all women with glasses are geeks. Although some of them are cute.
