I don't see a way on here that I can keep track of which threads I posted in and if people have replied. Most forums use a subscription system and can mail you when someone replies. I don't know if I want to be mailed every time someone replies to a post but is there an easier way to keep track of threads than keeping track of them mentally or short of bookmarking?

Click on "My Account" in the upper-right corner.

Click on "View Your Profile" in the center.

click on "Find all posts by savvyidentity" just below "Total Posts".

You should see a listing of your most recent posts.

Shorter way - Forums Index, just above where the forums are, right hand side "View My Posts"

If you'd activate the "Always notify me of replies" option in your profile (it's currently set "no") then, given that your profile's EMail address is functional, you would receive an alert every time someone posted to a thread you'd previously posted to - or for which you'd activated the "Watch this topic for replies" link at the foot of every thread.

This is also available - it will show all threads that you've (meaning "the member who clicks on it") ever posted to/watched and whether there have been updates:

Brilliant - also fixed the signature thing I was about to ask about whilst looking in there :-) Thanks

What I do is bookmark the ''Find all posts by Joe90'' page and keep it on bookmarks bar where I can quickly get to it, then have a look through my recent posts and just go from there. Then after I done that, I go to the forum I use the most (which is the general Autism discussion one), and just scroll down the list of recent threads been made in the time I haven't visited and post all over again. It's just how I use it, and it is easier for me.

I was kind of curious about this. Most websites have a more readily-accessible "recent posts" function, but the one here seems a little more tucked away. This is just my opinion, of course, but I think it would be more convenient if the "View posts since last visit" and "View your posts" links were included in a drop-down menu from the Community Discussion Forum button in the header.

The "View posts since last visit" ( http://www.wrongplanet.net/forumssearch ... posts.html ) page is linked from the top of the forum index, so two clicks from the home page.

It does not work fully, after a number of pages it stops working.

Trying it out it's been pretty accessible.

The only things I think would just add to that and make it very easy would be a way to see just replies, or see only posts where people quoted you (which is a kinda reply to you in particular) in some kind of list. Some forums easily show that in an intuitive way when you view old posts but worth mentioning I post less at those kinda forums so it's easier to manage posts. So more posts harder to keep track so I think being very intuitive and easy to manage posts would make sense.

I can find what I want it just takes longer. I can setup the alerts but I really prefer a tidy mailbox so I don't opt in for that. What would make it easier is just that one way to see all the posts replied to in a tree. But it's not awful either, it's pretty smart in most ways.
