What is everyone's favorite genre of Architecture? (Cite examples if possible)

I like the architecture in Barcelona, Spain from the early 20th century--especially the work by Antonio Gaudi. When will they ever finish La Sagrada Familia?

I'm not sure of the style, but Frank Gehry designed a building at MIT called the Stata Center that is interesting to say the least.

I.M. Pei designed the Hancock building in Boston, and it's a fovorite of mine also, especially now that the windows aren't all falling out.

Not to be negative, but brutalism never did it for me. It's interesting at first, but the buildings are just so depressing with all those slabs of concrete. My school (U-Mass Dartmouth) is designed in the brutalist style, and it's horribly confusing.

The Boston area is great for archetecture, there's elaborate churches from the 1600's and thoroughly modern works as well

I'm pretty general. I love old British castles (yeah, I know, that's VERY general). I also like Tudor design as well as some Hispanic inspired designs.

I tend to like old-world architecture the most. I'm not much for the modern contemporary styles unless they have a very organic, curvy or intricate deocrative element. I think I'd be perfectly happy if architecture never progressed beyond the early 1900s. Although maybe some futuristic building technology will make more crazy organic architecture feasible someday.

I'm very fond of Art Nouveau (which I think Gaudi was a part of). Stuff like this:

And Gothic:

Also I love all manner of European castles, medieval buildings, Tudor style, classical Greek, Egyptian, ancient stuff...

I really love the 1950's era architechture.

All those right angles, sharp odd angles and long or tall & flat angles get me silly. The use of so much glass.
