Do you mean flipping it over or meeting the sides in the middle? I never know to which this refers. I can do both. Anyway, something interesting cos you mentioned genetics: I could roll my tongue over in one direction but not the other. Then I practiced and practiced and eventually I trained my tongue to roll the other way!

I think the OP means meeting the sides in the middle. I can't do that. :evil:

Like you, I can only flip my tongue over in one direction (towards the right). Unlike you, I haven't practiced. Retraining my tongue to be able to flip in both directions is not really very high on my list of desired achievements. :lol:
