This is a common mishearing of the lyric "there's a bad moon on the rise" in the song by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

The line is:

"Don't go around tonight, Well, it's bound to take your life, There's a bad moon on the rise."

One of my favourite songs growing up was "Blinded By the Light" by Manfred Mann's Earth Band. It's strange. My roommate in college hated it. I don't know why. Maybe it was too complicated or something. Anyway, I had trouble understanding some lyrics. That's a common thing with me.

What I heard: "Wrapped up like a douche, another roamer in the night."
What it was: "Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night."
